Today my friends and I went to Okesa Maiko and got all gussied up and photographed. We're wearing the makeup and kimono of a real geisha! So much fun, but the wig and the obi were painfull, seriously, pain-full.

Yesterday I took a drive up to Futatsugame and Onogame, two famous rock formations at the very most northern tip of the island. Out of this world beauty.

Oh, and a note on the name of my journal, since people keep making fun of it. "Oojah cum spiff" comes from the PG Wodehouse Jeeves novels. It means "great" or "wonderful," so stop your giggling (this means you, mom)
